I have been to the Lounge a number of times and have found that the food is excellent and the service is fantastic. It is a small intimate venue and the staff are really friendly. It can get pretty busy, and the restaurant is quite small, but I think this all adds to the atmosphere. Great place for a first date.

My boyfriend and I used to live just around the corner from The Lounge and we used to go for breakfast at weekends religiously until we moved (haven't found an equivalent in Clapham yet!). The couple who run the place are fantastic at what they do and make this place what it is. Great value for money, uncomplicated and always good.

Techno Bimbo

The Lounge is a great place to go to if you fancy some home cooked tapas and a casual drink. The bar is really friendly and although small, it's run efficiently and couldn't have a warmer atmosphere. The owner is always keen to chat and the barmaid is great fun (and being spanish, she knows her food and wine!) Tapas is usually fast and yummy, so go there if you fancy having a relaxed eve with friends and you won't be disappointed!

The lounge is a great Tapas bar. The food is guaranteed to please, really authentic tasty tapas and paella. The owners are super friendly and make you feel at home straight away and it’s always buzzing with friendly local balhamites! Definitely worth checking out if you’re out and about in Balham.
